We can be creative with substitutions for equipment you might use in the gym, but don’t have at home, or travel with you on vacation so you can still stay on track. GETTING STARTED with Remote training
- First, we will need to get your account set up with FrancisFitness.com.
- Second, you will provide me with some initial information including your fitness background, goals, limitations and/or concerns, etc.
- Regardless of which Online training option you choose, providing this initial information is necessary for your success in writing your gym workouts or home workouts which could include exercise ball workouts as it is a great core strengthening
- If you choose the Premium Remote training package, this information will be utilized in designing your personalized exercise program.
- If you choose a premade package, this information will be utilized in the event that I need to make modifications to the premade program for you.
FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE DEDICATED FITNESS APP
I will be delivering your workouts by using the dedicated fitness app. The app will contain videos that demonstrate proper form and directions for completing each exercise. Workouts could be either home workouts or gym workouts In addition, the app will provide you with guidance on the number of repetitions to complete as well as rest times for each exercise. You can navigate the app more efficiently with the following information:
- Your workout logs will be saved each time you complete a workout. You will input your numbers into the log for both the number of repetitions completed as well as the weight.
- You can have greater confidence in yourself when increasing your resistance. By referencing your previous workout logs, you can reflect on your growth over time!
- You will have the ability to send a note to myself for any or all the exercises. Notes can include comments, questions, and concerns.
- You will have the ability to send a note to myself in reference to the entire exercise routine after it is completed. Notes can include comments, questions, concerns, etc.
- A calendar is available with your workout days and routines. There is an in-app messaging that directly connects to me for a timely response.

Performing your workouts is important to work towards your fitness goals. There are two options you can consider for scheduling your workouts. We can discuss both options during the consultation process.
- You choose the days of the week that will work best, and I will schedule your workouts accordingly for your preferred days. Clients often find they are more likely to stay on course with a “scheduled workout regimen” when workouts are scheduled for the week.
- You choose your workout days as the week progresses. There is more flexibility with your own personal schedule with this option.
ACCOUNTABILITY AND CONSISTENCY!
The key to an effective Online training program is the communication between the trainer and client. We will monitor and communicate with you in a variety of ways to highlight both consistency and accountability. Technology options that will strengthen the trainer/client communication include in-app messaging and an optional weekly call and/or video chat. These communication tools will help us to troubleshoot any issues you’re having, discuss your progress, and make any necessary changes to your program. In addition, I’ll be available for email and text support. By maintaining open lines of communication, we can ensure that you stay on track and reach your fitness goals.

However, if you prefer, I also offer premade workout plans. These workouts are designed to be safe and effective for a wide range of people. If you choose a premade workout, we will be using the information from the consultation to modify the workout if needed so it can be done safely. You will be performing the workout for the month before we will be modifying it for the following month. This allows me to see how your body responds to the workout and make any necessary adjustments. It also allows you to get used to the workout and become more comfortable with it before we make any changes. This approach ensures that you are getting the most out of your workout and that your safety is always our top priority.
