With 29 years of rehabilitation and fitness experience, John brings something most trainers simply can't — the clinical knowledge of a physical therapist combined with the passion of a coach who genuinely loves helping people move better, feel stronger, and live more confidently.

FROM THE CLINIC TO THE GYM — AND BEYOND

John Francis worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Southern Tier Physical Therapy in Binghamton, NY — helping hundreds of patients recover from orthopedic injuries, sports trauma, and debilitating back and neck conditions. He watched people fight to get their lives back. He helped them do it.

But John always knew there was more he could offer. The people who recovered fastest weren't just the ones who did their PT exercises — they were the ones who stayed active, built real strength, and developed a sustainable relationship with movement. That gap between rehab and long-term fitness? That's exactly where Francis Fitness was born.

Today, John blends the precision of physical therapy with the energy of personalized coaching — helping busy adults and older adults not just recover, but truly thrive. In-studio in Binghamton, or online with clients nationwide.

Began career in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation at Southern Tier Physical Therapy, Binghamton NY.

Expanded expertise beyond rehab — earning dual certifications in personal training (CProT) and Pilates instruction.
